The Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) is a Collaborating organisation for the Conference. ASME’s vision is to work collaboratively with educators, learners, researchers and policy makers to promote scholarship and excellence in medical education to meet the changing needs of the future healthcare workforce. #VHCC2020 promises to bring together and inspire the current and future workforce and we are delighted to support such an initiative. This event fuses exciting new technology and traditional communities of practice and we are looking forward to being part of the conversation.

Supported by NHS England, Health Education England, General Medical Council, Innovation Agency, Royal Colleges, Universities and key organisations, the National Health Careers Conference Team are shining a spotlight on the contributions of NHS staff during the pandemic with over 50 hours of support available during the experience for aspiring and current healthcare professionals.

There is a focus on widening participation and recognising the contributions of healthcare professionals, students, schools and wider society during the pandemic and beyond through the launch of our virtual Star Awards on the day. VHCC 2020 is also passionate about showcasing research, there will be a call for abstracts digitally in a pop-up event following the conference.
