Kevin Brandom
Director of Membership
Kevin is an Associate Professor of Medical Education in the Faculty of Health and Life sciences at the University of Exeter and Director of Assessment for the BMBS programme. Kevin has a background in pharmacology and supports teaching on this topic in the BMBS. Before taking on the Assessment Directorship, Kevin was Lead for Technology Enhanced Learning for the set up and establishment of the University of Exeter Medical School.
When Exeter set up a Master’s in Clinical Education, Kevin was asked to create a module “teaching in a digital world” to support development of clinical educators in the digital space. Kevin’s teaching and scholarship practice has been recognized in the award of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2013. Before being appointed to the Board of Directors in July 2022, Kevin was Chair of the ASME TEL special interest group.
