Gabrielle is the Vice Dean for Teaching Learning and Students for the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester and Professor of Medical Education in the School of Medical Sciences. Gabrielle teaches on the postgraduate programmes in Medical and Health Professions Education. She is a National Teaching Fellow.
Gabrielle’s research interests span a range of areas within medical education including innovative pedagogy, fitness to practise, identity formation, widening access, selection and gender discrimination. She is an anatomist who regularly engages in outreach, science communication and public engagement activities. Gabrielle has a particular interest in the use of arts and humanities within medical education.
