Be Aware - Fraudulent Journal website including Medical Education

Our partner Wiley found found a website (claiming to be the International Agency for Development of Culture, Education and Science) that also claims to be publishing Medical Education (https://iadces.com/ ).  This website shows the journal name, cover and details.

It seems that this is a well-known fraudulent site (see https://blogs.adelaide.edu.au/researchbulletin/2017/08/22/alert-issued-for-predatory-publisher-iadces-international-agency-for-development-of-culture-education-and-science/ ), who claim to be based in Australia but are actually in Ukraine and seem to target Ukrainian authors. Wiley’s legal team had previously looked into this and asked them to remove some of their other journals. At that point, they were not listing Medical Education, so this must have been added recently. The Wiley legal team are writing to them again to issue a take-down notice related to Medical Education specifically.

Medical Teacher is also on their site, and we have contacted AMEE to let them know.

Please be aware of this and don’t respond to any communications from this website – or think this is the real Medical Education!
