The next QMUL Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FMD) Inaugural Lecture celebrates the work of Professor Chloe Orkin.

Professor Orkin is a Professor of Infection and Inequities at the Queen Mary University of London and a Consultant Physician at Barts Health NHS Trust.

Her specialist area is viral therapeutics, and her clinical trials unit has contributed to licensing more than 20 therapies for viruses such as HIV, viral hepatitis, and SARS-CoV-2. She is the global lead author for the first-ever long-acting injectable HIV therapy.

She is the Academic Lead for Equality Diversity and Inclusion in the Faculty of Medicine at Queen Mary and Director of the SHARE research collaborative for health equity.

This blended event will be held from 5.30-7.30pm on Wednesday 14th June with the ability to book to attend in person at the Blizard Building, Whitechapel or register online here.
