Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) and Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) invite you to the first in a series of annual collaborative health educational conferences, which will take place online, via Zoom, on Wednesday 30 March, 1pm-5.30pm.
Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) and Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) Colloquium’ has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 4 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s).
The half-day colloquium will explore the latest issues in medical education, with speakers from BSMS and KMMS including:

Professor Malcolm Reed (Dean BSMS) – Reflections on three years as Co-Chair of the Medical Schools Council – the challenges for Medical Schools

Professor Chris Holland (Founding Dean KMMS) – 21st Century Medical Schools

Professor Graeme Dewhurst (Regional Postgraduate Dean HEE South East England & Co-Chair HEE Postgraduate Deans) – The healthcare education news from KSS and Health Education England

Dr Scarpa Schoeman (KMMS) – Reflections on early years assessment at KMMS – the road thus far….

Professor Sukhi Shergill and Dr Jo Rodda (KMMS) – Building the relationship with KMPT / wider Mental Health teaching and research agenda as an exemplar of collaborative working and building partnerships
