We are delighted to introduce the ASME MEGABITE! A new, virtual event lasting 90 minutes – giving you the time you need for in-depth discussion and engagement. MEGABITE events are an opportunity to discuss key matters of interest, disseminate areas of good practice, engage and network with fellow health professions education professionals.

This new format allows you to increase your level of engagement and activity with delegates, and naturally lends itself to a panel discussion or keynote speaker format. If you choose to engage a keynote speaker then a small honorarium can be offered, however, a ticket fee must be charged for these sessions to cover the honorarium cost.

All MEGABITE sessions will be recorded and uploaded to our website shortly after the session so they can be shared with our members.

You will need to complete a session submission form for your MEGABITE event, please note that this should include a clear session plan. If you would like to offer an honorarium for your keynote speaker then a paid registration fee will be levied for the event to offset this. Attendance numbers for fee calculations should assume 25 fee-paying delegates per event.

Once your session has been approved, a member of the ASME events team will be in touch to agree your event date with you and arrange for a representative from ASME to chair your event. Please note that due to the nature of this event we have limited number of session slots available.

Our theme for #ASME2024 is “Maximising Potential” and we would particularly welcome any sessions on or around this theme.
