The next meeting of RMG’s 23/24 Lunchtime Journal Club will be on Friday 28th June, from 1:05 – 1:50pm (Online event via Zoom). All are welcome to come along and join in the discussion.

The purpose of the RMG Special Interest Group is to provide a forum for discussion of research paradigms and approaches to support the work of the Educational Research Committee (ERC) and wider ASME aims.  In line with that, the ASME RMG Journal Club is an opportunity to meet together online to look at a recent medical education journal paper in the field, with a particular focus on methodologies.

The paper under discussion in June will be:

Thambinathan V and Kinsella EA (2021) Decolonizing Methodologies in Qualitative Research: Creating Spaces for Transformative Praxis.

Professor Tudor Chinnah, RMG committee member and Associate Professor of Medical Education at the University of Exeter, will be presenting the paper and facilitating the associated discussion.  All welcome!
