ASME looks forward to welcoming a new JASME member, who has taken up the offer of free membership for medical and healthcare students of Ukraine, to the upcoming Annual Scholarship Meeting in July. By funding their place to the conference, we hope that they can enjoy being a part of and networking with the ASME community, benefiting from other people’s scholarship and research as well as sharing their own ideas and experiences.
As a small charity we wanted to do something tangible and we are delighted that JASME have been proactive in supporting ASME’s pledge, by offering funding to a UK-based Ukrainian medical student enabling them to attend the ASM in Aberdeen. The JASME Chair, Ed Whittaker, and the JASME Committee are excited to show them all the conference has to offer.
