ASME are delighted to announce that Dr Jason Frank will be a speaker at our Annual Scholarship Meeting 2020. #ASME2020 is designed to disrupt medical education and Dr Frank will help us challenge the norms in our field.
Dr Frank is a clinician educator who is Director of Specialty Education, Strategy, and Standards in the Office of Education at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the Vice Chair and Director of Educational Research & Development in the Department of Emergency Medicine, University of Ottawa. He has published and presented widely in medical education, where his research interests include competency-based education, faculty development, program evaluation, and curriculum development. He is known for his work with the Royal College on the CanMEDS Project since 1994, and as an award-winning teacher.
