

A teaching workshop for medical students at all stages of their training. A great opportunity to learn essential small-group teaching skills which you will need as a doctor and gain valuable feedback from peers and expert teaching facilitators.

Outline of day:
The morning will include teaching theory, with talks from Dr Chris Stephens, John Perry (University of Southampton) and Dr Vincent Cooper (ASME Executive Committee). After a free lunch delegates will break into small groups to put theory into practice and teach a basic clinical skill to peers. They then receive extensive individual feedback from the group and an experienced facilitator.
