The Junior Association for the Study of Medical Education (JASME) is a special interest group within ASME for medical students. One of its key goals is to encourage, promote and conduct medical education research initiated by students.
JASME invites current undergraduate medical students to enter this medical education essay competition.
The 2012 title is:
‘Students as teachers’
Entry criteria:
To enter, students must be :
The student is encouraged to reflect on their individual experiences and ideas
The essay should be a well-structured, readable account that is informative and original
Alternative multi-media submissions will be accepted provided they are well produced and are accompanied by a summary of the key points
Word limit: 1000 (+/-10%)
Prizes:
Applications should be made via the online submission form available in the Awards section of the JASME website.
Submissions via the online submission form should be received by ASME by Friday 27th January 2012
