

The Junior Association for the Study of Medical Education (JASME) is a special interest group within ASME for medical students. One of its key goals is to encourage, promote and conduct medical education research initiated by students.
JASME invites current undergraduate medical students to enter this medical education essay competition.

To enter, students must be :
The student is encouraged to reflect on their individual experiences and ideas
The essay should be a well-structured, readable account that is informative and original
Word limit is strictly 1000 (+/-10%) including titles, subtitles and text boxes.
Applications should be made via the online submission form (click on the Application Form tab). The submission should be attached to the online application (minimum font size 12pt) and any multimedia documents uploaded to Dropbox with access granted to This email address is being protected from spambots. The online application form will go live 2 weeks prior to the application deadline
All applicants must be a student member of ASME at the time of submission. Non-members can join ASME for a small fee and experience the host of other student member benefits of ASME.
